The Shakespeare Institute, established in 1951, is a graduate school in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK, which deals in the study of Shakespeare, Shakespeare's contemporaries and that period of English history known as 'the Early Modern.'

The Institute used to have a printed journal, The Mason Croft Review, but it went the way of all good things. We - post-graduate researchers in Stratford-upon-Avon - received a generous grant from the University of Birmingham (with which the Institute is affiliated) to start up again an Institute journal. We are starting the journal online, but we may decide to expand it into print in the future.
